Book Condition: Good, corners bumped with slight fraying and corners, moderate wear to edges and spine extremes also show slight fraying (detailed photos cheerfully provided upon request), moderate foxing to text block, but pages themselves only show slight tanning appropriate to the age of this title. Previous owner name in pen on front endpapers, otherwise book is free of marks, hinge is cracked between flyleaf and title page, otherwise binding is tight and intact, Spine straight. Moderate scuffing to boards. No dust jacket. This title contains an excellent collection of articles and testimony in defense of the trust, and an important annotated bibliography. Includes an article by James Bridge who served as one of Carnegie's literary assistants from 1884 to 1889. 255 pages. Scarce 1902 Edition. Collectible.
