The first edition of this book, published in 1922 by Methen and Company in Great Britain and by Princeton University Press in the United States, consisted of the text of Mr. Einstein's Stanford Little Lectures, delivered in May 1921 at Princeton University.

For this second edition, Mr. Einstein has added an appendix discussing certain advances in the theory of relativity since 1921.

Book Condition: Good, some fraying of spine extremes and corners and moderate wear to edges, previous owners name in pen on front endpapers, and pen symbol on title page and bottom of text block, previous owner also made some notes in pen to back endpapers, all other pages are clean and free of marks, pages show slightest uniform tanning appropriate to the age of this title. 132 pages.
