ORIGINAL MANUSCRIPT, No binding, 3 hole punched typewritten pages in Brown Card "Amfil" Kankakee, ILL folder, 3 hole double-tang fasteners, To our knowledge this 19 page, 10 Lesson document was never published by Shinn. We do know that she obtained a copyright for this title on Jan. 24, 1936, (As noted in the Catalog of Copyright Entries Part 1, Group 2, Pamphlets, Leaflets, Contributions to Newspapers or Periodicals, Etc. Lectures, Sermons, Addresses for Oral Delivery, Maps, 1936, New Series, Volume 33, No. 1) but we are unable to find any documentation or evidence to show that this was ever published.
Book Condition: Very Good, folder is rubbed and light soil, corners bumped and creased, internally pages are lightly tanned but otherwise no rips or tears. While typing lessons 1 through 9 it is apparent that Shinn's typewriter ribbon was running out of ink and therefore several pages have extremely light type. In the middle of Lesson 9 she changed the ink cartridge and the remainder of the manuscript is crisp and uniform. There are a few corrections made in pencil and some type errors that were "x"ed out and re-typed.
Contents: Lesson 1. The Magic Path of Intuition, True Prayer Means Preparation, Lesson 2. HOW TO WIND YOURSELF UP FINANCIALLY, Lesson 3. The MAGIC PATH OF INTUITION, Awake thou that sleepth, All that you desire or require is already on your pathway, but you must be wide awake to your good to bring it into manifestation, Lesson 4. HOW TO BREAK UP OLD THOUGHT FORMS, Lesson 5. HEALTH AND HAPPINESS, Lesson 6. BRINGING YOUR FUTURE INTO THE NOW TIME AND SPACE ARE but a dream., Lesson 7. THE HOUSE THAT FAITH BUILT, Lesson 8. DO NOT LET YOUR HEART'S DESIRE BECOME A HEART'S DISEASE, Lesson 9. GOD THE GREAT MAGICIAN, Lesson 10. ALL THAT THE FOURTH DIMENSION AFFORDS IS YOURS. -- end. 19 pp.
Note: Shinn's other "Published" works include: The Game of Life and How to Play it (1925), Your Word is Your Wand (1928), The Secret Door to Success (1940) and Power of the Spoken Word published posthumously in (1945).
About the Author: Florence Scovel Shinn (1871-1940), Florence Scovel Shinn's books have been reprinted continually since her death in 1940. These metaphysical works were published privately during her lifetime, but Simon & Schuster and the Church of Religious Science have made them a staple of New Age bookstores everywhere today. Shinn developed her beliefs from such mystical sources as Freemasonry and ancient Egyptian philosophy. The Game of Life and How to Play It and The Secret Door to Success are often seen as blueprints to today's most popular self-improvement books. Shinn's influence has proven so great that two researchers have compared her writings with the work of the father of positive thinking, Norman Vincent Peale, and have concluded that some of Peale's theories originated with Shinn. We consider "The Magic Path of Intuition" a lost treasure from Shinn and look forward to finding a new home for this collectible gem. Please feel free to contact us with any specific questions about this title.

ADDENDA for Lesson One to Lesson Eleven for Tubbs' Stock Market Correspondence Lessons
ADDENDA for Lesson One to Lesson Eleven for Tubbs' Stock Market Correspondence Lessons
by C. Ralph Dystant
Book Description: C. Ralph Dystant, Dysco., Chicago, IL, USA, 1970. NO BINDING, Loose pages (3 hole punched), 8.5 x 11 in. white paper for text and green grid graph paper for charts, This 54 pp. ADDENDA (Original) is for the NEW 1970 edition of Tubbs' Stock Market Correspondence Lessons One to Fourteen that Ralph Dystant published in 1970. Upon uncovering this rare document we now better understand how it came to be that there are two versions of the Tubbs course reprint floating around.
The first TEN Lesson course written and published by Frank Tubbs in the 30s or 40s, and the FOURTEEN Lesson course published by Dystant in 1970. Lessons Eleven by Fourteen were written and added by Dystant in 1970. Dystant re-typeset the entire Lesson One thru Fourteen Course for the 1970 publication, but for those re-sellilng the reprint for the last couple of decades, there has never been any mention that Ralph Dystant actually wrote the last four chapters and to our knowledge the existence of an ADDENDA for Lessons One to Eleven by Ralph Dystant may have been known by very few. It is clear to us now that Dr. Jerome Baumring, who originally owned this ADDEND knew, but decided to sell the Reprints of Lesson One through Fourteen Course with no reference to Ralph Dystant. We can only speculate as to Dr. Baumring's reasons, but it may have been related to copyright infringement issues.
In this 54 pp. ADDENDA, Dystant attempts to update Tubb's observations and in many cases uses current charts to illustrate his additonal observations. For those of you who own the Tubbs' course you will see in Lesson Eleven that a 1970 chart of Savin verifies that Dystant wrote Lessons Eleven through Fourteen. We were also able to verify Dystant's November 1970 copyright and description through the Catalog of Copyright Entries, Third Series: 1970: July-December (See photo).
Addenda Condition: Very Good, pages are lightly tanned and light shelfwear otherwise clean and unmarked. (no binding, loose pages only), Contents: Lesson One Addenda 8 pp. (4 pages of text and pages of charts), Lesson Two Addenda 4 pp. (2 pages of text and 2 pages of charts, Lesson Three Addenda 14 pp. (2 pages of text, 3 pages of charts and 9 pages of tables), Lesson Four Addenda 7 pp. (1 page of text and 6 pages of charts), Lesson Five Addenda 1 pp. (1 page of text), Lesson Six Addenda 3 pp. (1 page of text and 2 pages of charts), Lesson Seven Addenda 3 pp. (2 pages of text and 1 page of charts), Lesson Eight Addenda 2 pp. (1 page of text and 1 page of charts), Lesson Nine Addenda 5 pp. (3 pages of text, 1 page of charts and 1 page of tables), Lesson Ten Addenda 1 pp. (1 page of text), Lesson Eleven Addenda (A Ralph Dystant Addenda to his own chapter) 4 pp. (1 page of text and 3 pages of charts), also included is a chart of the Transportation Averages from 1958 to 1970 with volume and a chart of Market Barometers for 1969 to 1970 that includes Utilities, Industrials and Transportation -- end. 54 pp. EXTREMLY SCARCE ORIGINAL BY C.
