Summary:

Excellent Post-Depression Era Title on Inflation focusing on the differences and similarities of several high inflation periods. I read this book over the weekend and I glad I did. What I took away from this title was that although all of these periods took several years to run through these stages, the reaction of commodities, securities and the actual inflation differed in each case. Applying this to the current economy I have an idea what to expect, but will certainly make sure I'm listening more to the market then broadly "assuming" what will happen if we move into a more inflationary period. Highly recommended as it may offer a good balance to those who might already hold strong preconceptions about market reactions to inflation and hyperinflation.
